According to Securities Times e Company, on September 29, local time, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill of 219 to 212 votes to suspend the national debt limit until December 16, 2022. This bill aims to help the federal government temporarily break through the debt ceiling to ensure that it has sufficient funds to maintain operations before December 16, 2022, and to allow the US Treasury Department to continue to issue bonds during this period. The bill is now submitted to the Senate for voting. According to CNN’s forecast, the bill will most likely not be passed in the Senate. (CCTV News)
