The new colorway, dubbed “Penny”, features a mesh upper with a wavy texture, reminiscent of the Air Max Plus design. The color scheme includes blue, black, and white tones, with a KD logo on the tongue and a white Swoosh logo on the sides.
The KD 17 “Penny” also features Zoom cushioning technology in the midsole and a TPU insole for added comfort and support. The sneaker will be available for purchase on Nike’s official website and select retailers starting on May 24th, with a retail price of $150 USD.
Nike previously tapped Oklahoma City Thunder player Chet Holmgren to star in the KD 17 advertisement, showcasing the shoe’s performance and style. Fans of the KD line can now look forward to adding the sleek “Penny” colorway to their collection.
