In the town hall, a party for the center-right: an unbridgeable advantage even when there were still a couple of sections to scrutinize. And she attacks the abstentions: “They don’t deserve our job”

ODERZO. Maria Scardellato is confirmed as mayor of Oderzo. An outcome without stories, the one that comes out of the urns of Oderzo: while the official status was still missing, already shortly after 19 it was clear that the first outgoing citizen would have obtained a new mandate for another five years at the helm of the city. The gap with rival Marco De Blasis seemed unbridgeable already after the first sections scrutinized, with a percentage always on the order of 70/30 in favor of Scardellato. In the end, the final result says Scardellato with 69.83% of the votes.

She was elected mayor in 2016. A 61-year-old engineer, Scardellato remains at Ca ‘Diedo until 2026 supported by Lega, Fratelli d’Italia and the civic “Scardellato mayor”. Two councilors and two majority councilors re-nominated in his team: the councilor for commerce Alessio Bianco and councilors Erika Zaia and Paola Paolin with the League; the councilor for culture Lara Corte with Scardellato mayor.
