A provocation against Biden’s tax on billionaires
(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, NOV 06 – Elon Musk never ceases to amaze on Twitter. This time, with a post that will once again cause debate, he challenges Joe Biden and the Democrats’ proposal for a tax on the assets of American billionaires by asking his 63 million followers if they should get rid of 10% of Tesla’s shares in its possession.
The post looks like a provocation, but Musk has explained that he is serious, promising he will stick to the poll result. So far the responses to his post are over 700,000, and about 56% approve the decision to sell. Tesla’s shares in the hands of its founder at the end of June were over 170 million. Selling 10% of it would mean an amount of about 21 billion dollars. (HANDLE).
