ACQUI TERME. It is the most innovative, fresh, young rib of Acqui Storia, designed to make room for new popular forms and rising talents in the world of historiography. The Acqui Edito & Inedito award, organized by the Municipality and supported by the Cral foundation, celebrates its third edition today with the delivery ceremony held at 5 pm in Palazzo Levi. In the Graphic Novel published category, deputy Giorgio Franzaroli with his «Family Orrido», published by POP. For the unpublished section in Narrative the award goes to Fabrizio Meni with “One two three stars!” (it will be released by De Ferrari) while for the unpublished historical essay Giacomo Aula wins with “The most beautiful story in the world” (De Ferrari also in this case).
The first place for the unpublished historical novel, finally, goes to Caterina Peschiera and her «The pregnant goddess» (Impressioni Grafiche will publish it). The juries awarded special mentions to Roberto Albertini for “Irochesi means” vipers “…” (Graphic novel published), Antonella Petrarca with “The reforming program of Giuseppe Maria Galanti” (unpublished historical essay) and Ninetta Pierangeli, with “L’amico di Benito »(unpublished historical novel). Says the Councilor for Culture, Cinzia Montelli: «Two weeks after Acqui Storia, we are very happy to present this new event which aims to promote new languages. History needs to be told and shared and Acqui is becoming its main stage, gathering ideas and new codes, as evidenced by the large participation of new authors ».
