The New Sardinia of 22 May: the number of vaccinated Sardinians is growing

SASSARI. On the New Sardinia of 22 May, the acceleration of the vaccination campaign in Sardinia was in the foreground, with the result that over 44 percent of the resident population was given at least the first dose. A number destined to grow also thanks to the “Open days” this weekend in six hubs of the island.

The blanket vaccination and the sharp decline in the number of infections and hospitalized patients is driving Sardinia towards the white zone, which has minimum restrictions, since June 1st.
