China Securities Network News on May 9, the latest research report released by CITIC Securities pointed out that the decline in the production of lithium concentrates in Australia for two consecutive quarters has led to increased supply shortages in the lithium industry. The price of lithium concentrate is expected to soar above $5,000/ton in the second quarter of 2022, which will narrow the profitability of Chinese lithium salt companies. Supported by costs, lithium prices may stop falling by mid-2022.
