Almost 13 thousand candidates for the state test, starting on 22 June
CAGLIARI. School ended. But not for everyone: for about 26 thousand Sardinian students the hard work is not over. In 12,927 they are preparing to take the state exam for the maturity. For the upper secondary school, the first written test of Italian will begin on Wednesday 22 June at 8.30 am, prepared on a national basis. The second written test will take place on Thursday 23rd, different for each course, which will cover one of the disciplines that characterize the course of study. This year the test will be decided by the individual institutes, which will thus be able to take into account what is actually done by the children during the school year, also in consideration of the pandemic emergency. The largest army in the province of Cagliari with 5,864 candidates. Then Sassari (4,128), Nuoro (1,769) and Oristano (1,166). Then there are the tests of the lower secondary school which will take place in the period between the end of the lessons and June 30th. In Sardinia 13,199 eighth grade students will be engaged: 6,178 in Cagliari, 4,126 in Sassari, 1,757 in Nuoro and 1,138 in Oristano. (HANDLE)
