The former Fiamma cinema becomes a gym. Body Studio announced the conversion of the Largo degli Abeti space in a video published on its Facebook page. Screened the latest films nine years ago, in the premises between via Notarbartolo and via Libertà, there will be space for exercise bikes, treadmills and tools.

History of the Fiamma cinema

Opened in 1953, the Fiamma cinema has screened more than 1500 titles. After exactly 60 years, in 2013, the closure had arrived due to the increasingly constant decline in receipts, which has affected many Palermo cinemas in the last decade. Now the arrival of the Fiamma Body Studio that ignites the passion of fitness lovers, but definitively extinguishes that of cinephiles.
