Landslide, the Committee of the country satisfied with the explosive scale
PERAROLO. “The explosive controlled scale, designed and conducted by Danilo Coppe, allows us to breathe at least a first sigh of relief for our country, after more than 6 long months of apprehension.”
To underline this is the Committee for the future of Perarolo di Cadore, with the vice president Annamaria Canepa, after the operation with the explosive carried out on Friday on the Busa del Cristo landslide.
“For the town of Perarolo, 2021 opened with a sign of great hope”, explains the Committee, “since the commissioner Bottaccin has convened an important table on the problem of our landslide of the Busa del Cristo, sitting there all the interested bodies and two universities of Padua and Florence. We are really very grateful to councilor Bottacin because what came out of that table was a recipe based on a plurality of interventions aimed at reducing the risk deriving from the landslide phenomenon for the whole town of Perarolo, interventions that the Region has expressed its availability to finance up to 5 million euros during 2021 ».
“After these first scaling works that have eliminated the most unstable part of the slope”, underlines the vice president Canepa, “we await with trepidation the execution of the other interventions planned to increase the level of safety of the whole country, as was underlined in the course of the various meetings of the table. We want to thank the commissioner Bottaccin, Veneto Strade in the person of Michele Artusato, Danilo Coppe but also all those who collaborate for the solution of the problem, remembering in particular Rfi (which is conducting an important construction site in the part of its competence) and the ‘administration of Perarolo in the persons of the mayor Pier Luigi Svaluto Ferro and of the councilor Emanuele Maierotti who constantly follow the problem ».
