But in the meantime, The Donald on Thursday returned to repeat his “alternative truths” right on Fox. By arguing, for example, that during the assault on Congress on January 6 – triggered by his accusations of electoral fraud – “they never constituted a danger to parliamentarians and the police” (despite the fact that a policeman was killed precisely by the same people who marched singing “let’s hang Mike Pence”).
