Four minutes and forty-one seconds. A long time has passed between the moment of an order and the delivery by the cyclist. Gorillas, the company born in Berlin in 2020 in full lockdown, has arrived in Milan and plans new openings in Rome, Turin and Genoa. In a few months, the delivery platform has climbed the preferences of consumers and investors, conquering, in record time, the financial title of “unicorn”.
“The reason for so much speed – says Alessandro Colella, general manager for Gorillas in Italy – lies in the network of supermarkets without public access, which we call warehouse, on which our logistics are based”.
