BARON CANAVESE. “I’ve been isolated by phone for eight days now and no one in Tim can give me an answer.” DG, who lives in Barone Canavese and has been equipped with the remote assistance device for some years now, is a cry of alarm, due to health problems. “Unfortunately a few years ago I contracted a bad disease – she explains – and being a widow, the social worker of the Cissac of Caluso gave me the remote assistance service, so in case of help I can call ambulances and health workers. In addition, thanks to this service, I receive daily phone calls from other ladies who document my health situation and constantly monitor me. In this way – says DG – the days pass better and I feel much less alone ». In the last week, however, there are problems. “Unfortunately, however, this service, which uses the Tim line – he underlines – has been working in fits and starts for a month and has been completely silent for eight days specifically. In fact, there is no signal on the line and I do not know why: what I do know is that I am completely isolated, because I also have no neighbors and my only lifeline is precisely the telephone set and remote assistance. Without a line, however, as mentioned, it is all in vain ».

The woman says she tried to contact Tim’s service: “I was told they would intervene and fix the fault. I have also been to the Municipality to make my reasons heard, saying that other people, in the same conditions as me, actually have this problem. They promised me that the report would be made to those in charge, but the line is not there. This is a situation that has now become unsustainable: until before eight days ago the line perhaps came and went intermittently for a maximum of one or two days, a period of time, however, already very large as regards my problem: I I feel bad, I press a button and immediately the doctors and the ambulance arrive, or I get the call asking me if everything is okay. Now, however, the service has not been there for eight days. I hope that the situation can be resolved very soon, both for me, but also for other people in the same situation as me. Like everyone else, I pay for an efficient telephone line and a remote assistance service, but if it doesn’t work, it’s not good.
