Binance announced on Monday that it will cooperate with the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia to create and distribute tokenized artworks based on the museum’s collections., Including Da Vinci’s “Madonna Litta”, Van Gogh’s “Lilac Bush”, Claude Monet’s “Corner of the Garden at Montgeron” and other limited edition NFTs. These NFTs will be available in Binance at the end of August 2021. Auction on the NFT market.

It is reported that two copies of the NFT will be created for each artwork, one of which will be auctioned through the Binance NFT market, while the second copy of the NFT will be stored in the museum, and each copy of the NFT will be owned by the curator of the Hermitage Museum Mikhail Signed and dated by Piotrovsky.

Cryptocurrency is banned in Russia, but Binance stated that its NFT products in cooperation with the Hermitage Museum will comply with existing regulations.
