According to data from the alliance, 237,000 new public charging piles were added in the first September, an increase of 164.5% year-on-year. As of the end of September, 1.044 million units had been built, a year-on-year increase of 72.3%.
The completion of over 2 million charging piles has led to a substantial increase in private charging piles. With the penetration rate of the new energy vehicle market exceeding 10%,With policy support and the joint efforts of multiple parties, as of the end of September, China has built 1.024 million private charging piles with vehicles, an increase of 178.5% year-on-year.
At the same time, the battery swapping network is also taking shape again. Starting from the second half of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Energy Administration have jointly launched a nationwide trial of the application of new energy vehicle battery swapping modes. Driven by relevant policies, the number of power exchange stations in China has grown rapidly, from 555 at the end of 2020 to 890 at the end of September this year.
