2024 Toyota Tacoma: A New Generation Pick-Up Hits the Mexican Market

The Toyota Tacoma 2024 debuts in a new Central American market with prices already set in Mexico. The best-selling pick-up in its segment in the United States, the Tacoma has launched its new generation with four versions available.

The new Tacoma 2024 features the TNGA-F global platform, shared with other popular Toyota models like Tundra, Sequoia, and Land Cruiser. The pick-up now offers two powertrain variants based on a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, replacing the previous V6 engine.

In terms of technology and equipment, the Tacoma has significantly evolved, now offering automatic air conditioning, infotainment screens ranging from 8 to 14 inches, digital instrument panels, cloth or leather seats, and more. In terms of safety, the Tacoma now offers an advanced driving assistance package with features like autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

With a length of 5.41 meters, height of 1.89 meters, and width of 1.95 meters, the Toyota Tacoma is now available in Mexico with prices starting at 769,900 pesos and reaching up to 969,900 pesos for the top-of-the-line TRD Sport 4×4 version. Toyota aims to expand the Tacoma’s success beyond North America.
