Change the style but not the substance. the new electric suv Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron, unveiled and tested in national preview in Milan during the Design Week, confirms the qualities of the standard version, to which it adds a style characterized by greater sportiness and increased load space thanks to the different shape of the tail. It is made on the Meb platform, shared with models such as other lithium-ion models of the Volkswagen group. The range ranges from the rear-wheel drive 35 version (from 170 horsepower) up to the 50 quattro with 299 horsepower and 495 km of autonomy. This was the protagonist of our first contact on the road, where we appreciated the energy recovery system that can be set on 3 levels and the excellent ratio between external dimensions and internal space. In fact, the car is 4.59 meters long, therefore slightly longer than the Q3, it combines the interior space of the Q7 maxi SUV (over 5 meters long) with the load capacity of the Q5 (almost 4.70 meters). On board the 11.3 ”central touch screen (the largest ever mounted on an Audi), the head-up display with augmented reality, the new steering wheel and a design debuts.
Traditionally, the character of the car can be changed through the Audi Drive Select (standard on the Sportback together with the electric tailgate) and the Meb platform proves to be an excellent ally when you decide to pick up the pace. Under connectivity we find the connected Mib3 system, compatible with Apple CarPlay also wireless and Android Auto, and Adas of advanced level 2 (out of 5) of the Sae table. Prices starting from 47,750 euros for the 35 e-tron, while the car tested starts at over 64 thousand euros. Alternatively, you can opt for the Audi Value rental, with the “all inclusive” formula at around 500 euros per month for the Q4 sportback 40 e-tron 204 hp business.
