Xiaomi Automobile Factory Struggles with Production Capacity, Suppliers Receive Request to Increase Parts Production
Securities Times e Company News – A recent investigation into the Xiaomi Automobile Production Park in Beijing Economic Development Zone has revealed that the current daily production capacity is less than 300 vehicles. A supplier who visited the factory stated that they had received an email from Xiaomi Automobile requesting to increase parts production capacity.
The supplier disclosed that Xiaomi Motors had raised its monthly production target from about 7,000 units to 12,000 units per month. However, despite the ability to supply the necessary accessories, the supplier expressed doubts about Xiaomi Automobile’s ability to achieve this goal within the designated time frame.
During the visit, it was noted that the factory is operating on a single-shift production system and does not engage in overtime work. The production capacity was confirmed to be less than 300 vehicles per day by a Xiaomi Automobile supplier.
