The Beijing Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau found in the investigation that Internet insurance marketing advertisements containing “first month 1 yuan”, “1 yuan upgrade”, “free guarantee”, “mobile lottery” and other contents are more common in the market, and the relevant advertisements are unclear. It is not significant, and is often closely integrated with consumption scenarios such as shared bicycles and power banks. To a certain extent, it is using consumers’ attention “blind spots” to drain traffic. The “Notice” also requires insurance institutions to uniformly manage Internet insurance marketing and publicity activities in the Beijing area, formulate and improve relevant systems, establish daily management accounts, and report to the regulatory authorities on a quarterly basis.
