MILANO — After having opposed it for a lifetime, right on the inheritance tax a Silvio Berlusconi the final paw may have succeeded: dodge it. Not for everyone and not on everything, of course, but on the largest part of one’s mammoth heritage, which concerns 61.2% of Fininvest handed over to his five children. Some tax experts consulted on the inheritance question agree on this, referring to a very specific rule: article 3 of the Consolidated Law on Succession, which regulates the exemptions dedicated to inheritance taxes.
