Bravo Club is tinged with “green”

The pandemic has changed many things, some unpredictably: we are (hopefully) coming out of it not only more technological, as a side effect of confinement at home and teleworking, but also “greener”; there is no direct link with the coronavirus, yet it is so, it is perceived in all areas, from politics to tourism.

Even before the current “green” wave within the Alpitour group, the Bravo Club brand showed a particular vocation for sustainability and respect for the environment, also because it has always aimed at a clientele on average younger, that is, ” green natives ”, so to speak, rather than adults who have become green growing up. Also for this reason, in the structures of Bravo Club you can find, for example, culinary programs with natural and organic ingredients, a new completely plastic-free cosmetic line, and other ingredients for a holiday with a green soul in Italy and abroad.

Among the proposals of the brand in Italy we find Bravo Baia di Tindari, which offers nature, history, legends and art on the stretch of Sicilian coast that looks to the Aeolian Islands, and Bravo Daniela, which instead is positioned on the Salento coast between high cliffs and pine forests secular. Both structures offer various programs related to the theme of sustainability, dedicated to adults and children. For the latter, the Super Bravo Bimbo project is active with recycling laboratories in collaboration with Labsitters, where it will be possible to learn the English language and respect the environment while having fun. In addition, children will be able to take care of the Orto Stellina with activities related to the world of gardening, to bring little travelers closer to respect for nature and healthy living.

Another project is the Bravo Natura: a culinary program of the Bravo Clubs that allows guests to choose every day from a selection of products prepared with natural, organic and zero-kilometer ingredients, promoting a healthy lifestyle and reducing pollution for the transport of raw materials. The two villages also adhere to two accessible tourism initiatives: the first in collaboration with the Italian Celiac Association (AIC) to certify the attention to non-contamination by gluten in the preparation and administration of meals and the second in collaboration with the association for sustainable tourism Handy Surmountable for the Without Barriers project for a sea without barriers, dedicated to those with motor and sensory difficulties.

Furthermore, since 2021 both structures have been collaborating with Allegrini, a leading company in the cosmetics sector for hôtellerie, which has produced a natural, sustainable and plastic-free line. This choice allows to drastically reduce waste, primarily the use of plastic. DPlanet or “Do Not Disturb the Planet” is an ethical product, born from ingredients and oils of natural origin, without preservatives and silicones, without water, dermatologically tested and vegan. It is precisely the absence of water that allows the product to be kept intact, preserving it from microorganisms, reducing its size and cutting waste even during transport. A sustainable choice that will make it possible to save an average of over 2,800 kg of plastic, including bottles, dispensers and cans, necessary for the courtesy line of its facilities in Italy. Furthermore, from the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study conducted by Allegrini it emerged that, in terms of packaging, production and transport, the “solid” cosmetic has a lesser impact on the environment than the quantitative equivalent of the traditional “liquid” version, with a reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere of approximately 73%.
