Just four days after the start, the “Beer Revolution”, the equity crowdfunding campaign of Baladin, a leading company and symbol of excellence of craft beer in Italy, has already raised 4 million euros on the Mamacrowd platform. In a few days, over 1,800 subscribers have paid at least 250 euros to reach the maximum objective of 5 million euros to develop the Piedmontese group’s development plan to 2028 which envisages growth in turnover to 50 million euros, the creation of a circular water cycle through the construction of a well and the launch of Open Hub, the first shared brewery in Italy with a production capacity of 100 thousand hectolitres.
“The response to the Beer Revolution campaign is going beyond our wildest expectations. Our main goal was to open the company’s capital to as many people as possible to grow together with our community and share the growth path we imagined. We were not looking for a single investor but a multiplicity of travel companions who shared the identity values and philosophy of the brewery with us. Having 800 investors on board after just a few hours is a source of great satisfaction and confirms that the path taken is the correct one. In 2022, Baladin reached a production of 25,850 hectoliters, with revenues of 16.05 million euros and an EBITDA of 20% with a growth rate above the sector average. Present in 47 countries, Baladin operates through an omnichannel strategy with a B2B network of approximately 3,000 Ho.Re.Ca resellers. and an e-commerce that has served 24,000 customers to date.
