From tomorrow, 13 January, it will be possible to take advantage of the eco-bonus on motorcycles and scooters. There are 20 million planned this year on the ecobonus.mise.gov.it platform in order to benefit from the incentives for the purchase of hybrid or electric mopeds and motorcycles.
The contribution – underlines a note from the ministry – is intended for those who purchase a new electric or hybrid vehicle of the categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e. It will be calculated on the percentage of the purchase price: 30% for purchases without scrapping up to a maximum of 3 thousand euros, 40% for purchases with scrapping of an old scooter (from Euro 0 to Euro 3) up to a maximum of four thousand euros. The discount is applied immediately by the seller at the time of purchase. No power limit, and the contribution is valid for mopeds and motorcycles with two, three or four wheels, also purchased under leasing.
So whoever buys does not have to do any practice, it will be the seller who activates the discount after registering on the Mise platform. Here you book the contribution, and within 180 days you must confirm the operation, indicating the license plate number of the new vehicle delivered and attaching the required documentation. The manufacturing or importing companies will reimburse the merchant the value of the bonus: they will recover the sum in the form of a tax credit
