Manchester City They beat Brighton away this Thursday in a new round of the Premier League, winning 4-0 with goals from Phil Foden (x2), Kevin De Bruyne and Julián Álvarez.
At 26′, it was Foden’s turn, with a free kick on the edge of the area, which deflected and completely dislocated the goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
Brighton had no footing in the game and it showed. Valentín Barco lost it at the start marked by Bernardo Silva and the interception fell to Foden, who scored first and practically ended the game.
But in the complement, a closure was missing. And it was Julián Álvarez who gave it to them, taking advantage of an imperfect definition by Kyle Walker to correct and seal the final 4-0.
The win places City 2nd in the table, one point behind Arsenal, four games from the end and with one game less. Liverpool, also with one more than Manchester, follows them with two points that can become five when they catch up.
