ACQUI TERME. On the one hand Franca Roso, who has collected the confidence of the parties, on the other Danilo Rapetti as a free hitter, even if in the area and with the support of Bertero. THEThe center-right of Acqui will arrive split in the spring elections with which it will try to recapture Palazzo Leviconquered by the 5 Star Movement of Lorenzo Lucchini in 2017.
Rapetti, mayor from 2002 to 2012, entrepreneur and company manager, president of the Lions Club Acqui Host, broke the delay yesterday: “I address the people of Acqui without distinction of ideas or belonging, convinced that the city deserves an extraordinary common commitment: the economic conditions are too difficult, the prospects for trade and tourism are uncertain, the labor market is in crisis ». In his race there will be no room for the apparatuses, but only for “a formidable Civic Alliance of several lists, without parties and without symbols, united by the conviction that another Acqui is possible, starting from the best of the past and building the reasons for the future”.
It ensures the entourage that the lists are being compiled. The mother of all is that of the former mayor Enrico Bertero, who was Rapetti’s deputy and escaped from Forza Italia: with Alessandro Lelli and Renzo Zunino he says that “after five years of inertia, Rapetti will be the guarantee of recovery”. The candidacy, however, will force Rapetti to reckon with the League, of which he is a militant, but which has made different choices with Forza Italia and Fratelli d’Italia.
The candidate of the parties is the blue Franca Roso, accountant, former deputy mayor of Bertero and now president of Ancot, the national association of thermal municipalities. “Roso is already at work, with the whole team, to present our objectives and our idea to the Acquesi – comment the Acquese secretariats of Forza Italia (Adolfo Carozzi), Lega (Marco Cerini) and Fratelli d’Italia (Claudio Bonante) -. The center-right confirms itself as a reality also in Acqui, more determined and compact than ever, ready to relaunch the city and bring good governance to Palazzo Levi, for a project of wide political scope, but open to civic contributions ».
The official presentation has already been set – in a sprint on the opponents – tomorrow at 6 pm at Palazzo Robellini, with the general staff of the parties at city, provincial and regional level. Roso’s name had been around for months, but despite the convergence of the secretariats, in the end it was not possible to avoid the tear with the fringe of Rapetti and Bertero.
