After Real Madrid and City, there are Paris Saint-Germain (801.7 million), Barcelona (800.4), Manchester United (747), Bayern Munchen (707.1), of which only the data of the parent company are considered and not the consolidated one (calculated instead for the other clubs).
In this ranking after the German champions there is Juventus (434.5 million operating revenues), followed by Borussia Dortmund (425.1), Napoli (275.1), Olympique Lyonnais (199.1), Ajax ( 199.1). The Amsterdam Lancers have higher revenues than the Dutch champions, Feyenoord, who are second to last with 99.1 million.
Last in the ranking is the champion in Turkey, Galatasaray, 90.9 million in operating revenues.
Costs
«On the cost side, Barcelona recorded the highest growth in personnel costs, +39% compared to the previous year, reaching 639 million, driven by the hiring of relevant players, such as Robert Lewandowski, Frank Kessié and Raphinha», note Sartori.
The second team in terms of personnel costs is PSG, 634 million, despite having reduced costs by 13% and the ratio between personnel costs and revenues from 109 to 79 percent. «A significant reduction also necessary in view of the introduction of the team cost ratio included in the new UEFA financial sustainability rules», observes Sartori.
