Generali, agreement at 12.3%. Enter Crt Foundation

Now the stake held by the pact members is getting closer and closer to 12.9% in the hands of Mediobanca, against which Caltagirone and Del Vecchio have engaged in the battle for the renewal of the Board of Directors

Crt Foundation joined with its 1.232% of Generali the consultation pact between Caltagirone and Del Vecchio. With the arrival of the Turin entity, as well as with the latest purchases of the two large private shareholders of the insurance company, the shareholders’ agreement rises to 12.334% of the share capital of Generali. This is what emerges from the updated extract of the agreement published in the press.

With the arrival of Crt, the stake held by the pact members is getting closer and closer to 12.9% in the hands of Mediobanca, which has always been a reference shareholder of the Leone and against which Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone and Leonardo Del Vecchio have engaged in the battle for the renewal of the Board of Directors of Generali with the CEO Philippe Donnet at the center.

“We adhere to the pact to actively participate in the industrial plan and in the elaboration of a policy of greater development and creation of value for the group”, explained to Ansa the president of the Crt Foundation, Giovanni Quaglia. “Our idea is to build, not destroy,” says Quaglia.
