Single Buyer announced the outcome of the Gradual protection service auctions which were held on January 10th. Edison Energycompany of Edison Group active in the sale of electricity and gas to families and businesses and value-added services, it was awarded all four lots it was aiming for and for which it had submitted the offer (Southern Area 3, 5, 8 and 9), acquiring the possibility of serving within the scope of gradual protections approximately 700 thousand new customers for electricity, which are added to the two million announced in 2023 and bring the company’s target of four million by 2030 closer. Specifically, these are: Area Sud 3 (Avellino, Benevento, Grosseto, Livorno, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Siena); Area Sud 5 (Bari, Frosinone, Latina); Area Sud 8 (Catanzaro, Crotone, Lecce, Reggio-Calabria, Vibo-Valentia); Area Sud 9 (Catania, Enna, Messina, Ragusa, Syracuse).
