Green houses, final green light. But the center-right votes against, and announces battle

STRASBOURG – The directive on green homes passes with a moment of confusion, due to a sensational protest by some deputies, in the plenary session of the Strasbourg Parliament; 370 votes in favor, 199 against, 46 abstentions. The deputy contested the vote with whistles Angelo Ciocca (Lega)to which he replied in the Chamber Brando Benifei (Pd): «My colleague Ciocca is no stranger to these protests, which make European citizens understand that this is our job, making us ridiculous».
