A propulsion with greater torque than any road vehicle ever produced by the brand and the highest acceleration among the five-seater cars of the Blue Oval: it also arrives in Italy, sprinting from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3, 7 seconds, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT.
It is the sportiest version of the brand’s electric SUV and stands out above all for its total power of 487 hp with 860 Nm of torque, accompanied by that extra something given by the adaptive MagneRide suspension and the Brembo braking system.
Power and autonomy
Looking at it, in its recognizable Cyber Orange and Grabber Blue colors, with its standard 20-inch alloy wheels, and with its muscular bodywork, the high performance of the engine can be sensed. Speaking of motorization, the double engine relies on an extended range battery of 88 kWh and sporty driving does not affect the autonomy which remains quite high, up to 500 km WLTP.
Mustang Mach-E GT runs fast but recharges also fast: the possibility of recharging with a power of up to 150 kW allows it to go from 10% to 80% of the battery capacity in about 45 minutes.
The GT also features a different powertrain calibration, with a higher proportion of torque on the rear wheels than other all-wheel drive variants. The tires, the result of a collaboration with Pirelli, play an important role in this: the tires are in fact tailor-made with the tread design specially designed to accompany the car’s performance, ensuring grip, lateral stability and sports car handling.
Among the various driving modes available, those who choose Mustang MachE GT can also discover the Untamed Plus, which unleashes all the power of the engine and more: the mode also allows you to “listen” to the – recorded – rumble of the endothermic V12.
