100
It’s a windy spring day in Paris, about 100 days before the start of the Olympic Games in the city, when four superheroes step onto a small hotel stage. They are athletics professionals: a pole vaulter from Sweden, a high jumper from Qatar, a hurdler from Norway, a high jumper from Ukraine. All four are world record holders. And as they stand there, dressed in their new, bright Puma competition outfits, ready to run and jump, their trained arm and leg muscles standing out, they actually look as Puma boss Arne Freundt had announced them shortly before : like “Heros” – heroes.
