Huawei Pura 70 Pro/Ultra Launches Pioneer Plan with New Kirin 9010 Chip
Kuai Technology reported on April 18th that the highly anticipated Huawei Pura 70 Pro/Ultra has officially launched the Pioneer Plan and went on sale at 10:08 this morning. Many offline stores have already displayed the new phones, with some users even purchasing them in the first wave offline.
After being tested by numerous bloggers and users, it has been discovered that the Pura 70 Pro/Ultra models are equipped with the new Kirin chip – Kirin 9010. The chip features a 12-core CPU architecture, with 2 x 2.3GHz + 6 x 2.18GHz + 4 x 1.55GHz cores. The GPU is the same Maloon 910 as the Kirin 9000S.
In comparison, the Kirin 9000S utilizes an 8-core CPU architecture, with 1 x 2.62Ghz Taishan core + 3 x 2.15Ghz Taishan core + 4 x 1.53Ghz A510 core. It is important to note that the Kirin 9000S comes with hyper-threading technology for the ultra-large core and large core.
There is still uncertainty surrounding whether Kirin 9010 also has hyper-threading and if the actual core matches software detection. Reports suggest that the Kirin 9010 is essentially a small revision based on the Kirin 9000S, with the 12 cores serving as a placeholder for the hyper-threading scheduler, while it remains an 8-core 1+3+4 architecture.
