In France the hottest assemblies in Europe: from “no” members to 40 proposals from the council

During the 2021 shareholders’ meeting campaign of the companies listed on Piazza Affari (Ftse Mib index) the total number of proposals contested by the shareholders fell to 39 from 56 in 2020 (-23.45%). A drop that reflects the reduction in negative recommendations from the main proxy advisors: Iss suggested voting no to 30 board proposals (-26.7% compared to 45 in 2020), while Glass Lewis released 32 negative suggestions (47 in the 2020, -25.17%).
