Flights to Sicily

From Linate to Palermo there are six flights a day, the first leaves at 8:35 and arrives at 10:10, the ticket costs from 38.98 to 113.98 euros for all flights. Five flights a day from Punta Raisi to Linate, the first leaves late at 10:55 and arrives at 12:30. The price ranges from 36.79 to 111.79 euros for all flights on this route. On the Rome Fiumicino-Catania route there are five flights a day, four in the opposite direction. The first flight from Rome leaves at 9:10 am, arrives at 10:25 am, costs from a minimum of 35.07 to a maximum of 113.02 euros. Same price for the other flights, the last one leaves at 21:45 from Leonardo da Vinci. The first take-off from Catania is at 11:10 am, arriving in Rome at 12:30 pm, the cost ranges from 34.92 to 112.87 euros for all flights.

From Bari more flights to Linate than to Rome

From Bari to Rome there is only one flight a day, it leaves at 11:15 and arrives at 12:20, costs from a minimum of 40.22 euros to a maximum of 123.22. From Fiumicino to the Apulian capital there are two flights a day, the first leaves at 9:25, the other at 22, at a price ranging from 38.02 to 135.02 euros. From Bari to Linate six flights a day, the cost ranges from 35.22 to 110.22 euros. Seven flights a day from Linate to Bari, the price ranges from 38.98 to 113.98 euros.

Flights from Turin with an obligatory stopover

To go from Bari to other cities you have to make a stopover. For example, the Turin-Bari route requires passengers to make a stopover in Rome. From Turin to Bari Ita offers only one connection per day, departing at 3.15 pm and arriving at 11.05 pm, after almost six hours, at a price between 69.88 and 144.88 euros. Same goes for the connections between Turin and Sicily, it is mandatory to get off at Fiumicino and change plane. Thus biblical times are employed. From Turin to Palermo Ita proposes a departure at 15:15 and arrival at 18:20, from Turin to Catania departure at the same time and arrival at 19:30. The price is the same as for flights from Turin to Bari.

Few direct flights to London Heathrow

Flights abroad are few and often require passengers to make a stopover, even for those departing from Rome and Milan. For example, from Fiumicino to London Heathrow there is only one direct flight, it departs at 21:35 and arrives at 23:15. The cost ranges from € 45.01 to € 120.01 (we wonder why that extra penny). The Ita sales system also offers flights to the main English airport with a stopover at Linate, departing from Rome at 6:30 am and arriving at their destination at 9:30 am. Or departure at 2.30pm and arrival at 5.45pm. For both, the cost ranges from a minimum of € 134.08 to a maximum of € 209.08. The paradox is that a more inconvenient and longer flight with a stopover costs more than a direct flight. Probably because the direct flight schedule is more inconvenient, it leaves late in the evening. Why so few flights? Probably due to the scarcity of slots. From Linate to London Heathrow there are two direct flights a day, one leaves at 8:25 am, the other at 4:40 pm, the cost ranges from 30.52 to 105.52 euros. The Ita sales system also offers a flight from Linate at 7 pm arriving at Heathrow at 11.15 pm, with a stopover in Fiumicino. It seems madness: to go north you make the wide circle going south first, where you change planes and leave again. The ticket costs from 106.17 to 223.17 euros. Evidently in Ita they are not superstitious.

From Rome to Paris

Only two direct flights from Fiumicino to Paris Charles De Gaulle. One leaves at 8:35 am and arrives at 10:45 am, the other leaves at 3:10 pm and arrives at 5:20 pm. The price is the same, minimum € 54.01, maximum € 129.01. For the other Parisian airport, Orly, there are no direct flights, only with a stopover at Linate, three flights a day, priced between 80.08 and 155.08 euros. From Milan Linate to Charles De Gaulle there is only one direct flight, leaves at 6:30 am, arrives at 8:20 am, costs from 80.08 to 155.08 euros.
