Japan: household expenses -0.6% yoy in October, down for the third consecutive month

Spending on Japanese households fell by 0.6% on an annual basis in October, in line with expectations, after falling by 1.9% in September. On average, the average spending by households with two or more members was 281,996 yen (the equivalent of $ 2,500), down for the third consecutive month.
