The Jeep Avenger range grows with the arrival of the new 4xe version. After the electric version and the 1.2 turbo petrol two-wheel drive version, in the traditional and electrified two-wheel drive versions, the new all-wheel drive Jeep Avenger 4xe with automatic transmission will be available by the end of 2024. Although the acronym may make one think of a plug-in hybrid version, as already proposed on Renegade and Wrangler, under the b-suv there is a 48 volt mild hybrid composed of a 136 horsepower (100 kW) engine and two 21 kW each, capable of moving both axles and generating a maximum torque of 1,900 Nm available to the rear wheels.

Use all-wheel drive even when the batteries are flat. On the new Jeep Avenger 4xe it is possible thanks to “power looping” technology, capable of guaranteeing the availability of all-wheel drive regardless of the battery charge status. The 48V Mild Hybrid system allows you to drive in 100% electric mode at low speeds thanks to the combination of the 6-speed e-DCS6 dual clutch automatic transmission and the integrated electric motor. For now there is no information on prices but the price list should start from around 30,000 euros.
