Every year, the US magazine “Forbes” publishes, in addition to the list of the richest people in the world, a list of people who already have billions in assets at a young age.
But who is behind the world‘s youngest billionaires? The most current data on the assets of each ranking is based on a constantly updated Forbes list. It displays the net worth and ranking of every person classified as a billionaire by Forbes. The current data is from February 19, 2024. These are the ten youngest billionaires, sorted by age.
The world’s youngest billionaires in the 2024 ranking
Platz 10: Jonathan Kwok (31), Hongkong
Jonathan Kwok is the son of the late Walter Kwok, former chairman of Hong Kong’s leading real estate developer Sun Hung Kai Properties. After his father’s death in October 2018, he and his brother Geoffrey took over Empire Group Holdings, a real estate company founded in 2014. The brothers inherited their father’s direct interest in SHKP as well as a third of the shares in five large family foundations managed by their grandmother. The 31-year-old’s assets are currently at 2.3 billion euros.
9th place: Mark Mateschitz (31), Austria
Although the Austrian Mark Mateschitz, at 31, is only ninth among the world‘s youngest billionaires, he is still by far the wealthiest among them. His estimated net worth is currently around 39 Milliarden US-Dollar. With this fortune, he is also one of the ten richest Europeans in 2024. He is the only son of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who died in 2022, and inherited 49 percent of the shares in Red Bull.
8th place: Gustav Magnar Witzoe (30), Norway
Gustav Magnar Witzoe owns 47 percent of the Norwegian salmon producer SalMar ASA. His father Gustav Witzoe, who founded the company in 1991, transferred his shares to him in 2013. The 30-year-old billionaire’s fortune is growing 3.9 billion dollars quantifies and gives the investor eighth place in the ranking of the youngest billionaires in 2024.

Platz 7: Ryan Breslow (29), USA
In 2014, Ryan Breslow dropped out of Stanford University to found his first startup called Bolt. In the following years, he founded two more companies: the wellness startup “Love” and the digital cryptocurrency platform “Eco”. Another crypto project called “Movement DAO” to support social causes was scheduled to launch in 2023, but was temporarily suspended due to a legal dispute, according to Forbes. The young billionaire’s current net worth is $1.1 billion.
6th place: Katharina Andresen (28), Norway
Katharina Andresen is the older daughter of Johan H. Andresen, a Norwegian investor and industrialist. Her father left Katharina and her sister Alexandra each 42.2 percent of Ferd AS. The young heiress’s fortune is currently listed by Forbes $1.5 billion estimated.Â
Platz 5: Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio (28), Italian
Ray-Ban, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Bulgari – all of these brands belong to the world‘s largest eyewear manufacturer Luxottica, which is now called “EssilorLuxottica” since its merger in October 2018 with the French eyewear specialist Essilor. Â The Italian company was founded in 1961 by Milanese Leonardo Del Vecchio, who died in June 2022. He left 12.5 percent of his fortune to his widow, his six children and one stepchild. His son Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio now works as head of strategy at Essilor-Luxottica. Forbes estimates his net worth $4.2 billion.
4th place: Alexandra Andresen (27), Norway
As in previous years, the younger of the Andresen sisters is one of the youngest billionaires in the world. The 27-year-old daughter of the Norwegian investor Johan H. Andresen inherits – like her sister – 42.2 percent of the family investment company Ferd. The heiress’ fortune will increase this year $1.5 billion estimated.
Platz 3: Luca Del Vecchio (22), Italian
The next young billionaire is also the son and heir of the Italian entrepreneur Leonardo Del Vecchio. At 22 years old, Luca Del Vecchio has a net worth of $4.2 billion and is in third place in the ranking of the world‘s youngest billionaires. However, it is not known that he works in his father’s eyewear company.
2nd place: Kevin David Lehmann (21), Germany
In second place among the world‘s youngest billionaires in 2024 is 21-year-old Kevin David Lehmann from Germany. His estimated assets are enclosed $2.5 billion. At the age of 14, he inherited 50 percent of his father’s shares in the German drugstore chain dm. Neither Kevin Lehmann nor his father are still actively involved in the company today.
Platz 1: Clemente Del Vecchio (19), Italian
The youngest billionaire also comes from the Del Vecchio family. Clemente Del Vecchio is just 19 years old and has an inheritance of 4.2 billion euros. This makes him, along with Luca and Leonardo Del Vecchio, one of the three richest billionaires under the age of 30. According to Forbes, the youngest billionaire has not yet played a role in the company EssilorLuxottica.
