Audio media (radio, streaming) is increasing slightly, while podcasts are stagnating with a daily usage of six minutes. Radio remains at around three percent of advertising revenue, while podcast advertising is slowly but steadily becoming a small but natural part of the media mix for many campaigns. Nevertheless, it must be stated at this point that many advertisers will unfortunately never recognize and implement the true qualities of audio advertising (“Radio works where others cannot”).
