The biggest changes were in the front design, with the aim of making the F-150 a little more related to the Ranger and the Explorer stylistically speaking. The interior was also, once again, redesigned at this time.
The Ford Ranger was launched in the United States in 1982, and its first generation remained, with different updates, until 1992. The truck had a new front end in 1989, including composite-colored headlights, a new front fender, hood and grille, along with some frame upgrades. Inside, there was a modern dashboard and a new steering column.
