Gabriele Menotti Lippolis is the new president of Confindustria Brindisi, elected yesterday by the general assembly. For Lippolis, and the organization it will lead until 2025, the challenges are called energy transition, support for quality tourism and further relaunch of the port, an objective on which the national president of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, also insisted in the video message. transmitted during the meeting. “The port of Brindisi – said Bonomi – represents an asset for the whole country, and obviously for the territory, and Lippolis will be able to better interpret the needs of Brindisi companies”. Companies that, Bonomi said again, “should be thanked, like those of all of Italy, for the generosity and enthusiasm of civil servants with which, by joining our campaign, they have made their offices and factories available as community vaccination hubs “.

The energy transition
For Lippolis, the road map is above all called energy transition on which to build a new production chain and in which to seek a key role in launching the project of a “Puglia Hydrogen Valley”, thus also becoming the Silicon Valley of renewable energies. “A path – explained Lippolis to the assembly of the Brindisi area which has 350 members, about 10 thousand workers employed and an annual added value of production of goods and services, estimated at about 4 billion euros – which first passes through the authorizations ministerial for the turbogas plants in Cerano, and more sustainable mobility by road and by sea with liquid natural gas (LNG) ».

The entire organization is attested to the energy transition towards hydrogen, so much so that the president of Confindustria Puglia, Sergio Fontana, has formalized the regional delegation in Lippolis for Energy and the new Hydrogen challenge.
