Naval connections will be guaranteed. And in the affair concerning the Moby shipping company there is a clearing up. The Court of Milan declared (by decree published on Monday 5 July) Moby SpA, the shipping company of the Onorato group, admitted to the composition procedure proposed by the company. The measure was announced by the same company with a note in which it announces that “after having overcome the Covid 19 emergency period thanks to a focus on revenues and margins, it will continue its industrial and commercial plan that has already achieved a great recognition from the market in this start of the tourist season which confirms growing numbers for the company ».
On the other hand, Cin Tirrenia, also from the Onorato group, which last May had submitted a request for an agreement in continuity, is awaiting the ruling of the Milan court. And it had presented an industrial plan which provided for the confirmation of the connections, in some cases the expansion, and the renunciation of public compensation.

A cautious optimism comes from the trade unions, as Arnaldo Boeddu, general secretary of Filt Sardegna explains. “While waiting to be able to read the entire contents of the decree, above all, to check if the credit institutions will accept the repayment plan proposed by the shipowner, for the moment we look positively at this step”. For the trade unionist, having overcome the obstacle represented by the different phases of the procedure, “one will necessarily have to get around a table in order to find a solution to all the other problems that secure the employment and income levels so far expressed by Moby Spa including those attributable to satellite companies such as the tugboat division ».
Meanwhile, the group’s business continues and records strong growth in bookings, with peaks reaching eighty percent.
The group also continues with promotions and initiatives ranging from the so-called “suspended ticket” to a 100 percent discount for each passenger accompanied by another payer. Initiative valid with reservations until 9 July and to be made by 30 September in connections with Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica and Elba.
