Nestlé rewards 3 thousand Italian workers with 2,500 euros

For the 3 thousand Italian workers who work in the offices and factories of the Nestlé group, a premium of 2,500 euros arrives. The group has been present in Italy for more than 100 years in 9 product categories, with a portfolio of numerous brands ranging from S.Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Levissima to Purina, Nespresso, Nesquik, Buitoni, Maggi, Perugina, Baci Perugina, KitKat, Galak, Smarties, Fitness Cereals.

The bonus has been agreed with the food sector unions, Flai, Fai and Uila and is the highest ever due to the results achieved in a constantly evolving phase, which is redesigning everyone’s way of working. This is a measure that adds to the rich welfare package and measures to support the inclusion and parenting of society. A few weeks ago, Nestlé extended the paid leave by 3 months, or 12 consecutive weeks, for working fathers or second caregivers for the birth or adoption of a child. With the trade unions, Fai Cisl, Flai Cgil, Uila Uil, the group has signed an agreement establishing the “Nestlé Baby Leave”, on which it will invest over one million euros per year.
“People are the engine of our company and this award certifies the results achieved thanks to the commitment, dedication and professionalism of our collaborators – says Marco Travaglia, President and CEO of the Nestlé Italy and Malta Group -. We are proud of how our people have been able to face these two decidedly complex years with responsibility and flexibility, looking to the present and to the future with the awareness that the best results can only be achieved by joining forces and working together “.
