According to reports, the first Model Y models delivered to Europe will be produced at Tesla’s Shanghai Super Factory and sent from Shanghai to Europe. Reservations are open to consumers in almost all European countries, including Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland.
At present, as a factory setting option, tow hooks with 1600 kg towing power are not provided, and the booker needs to purchase and install it after delivery. Tow hooks are very popular in Europe, so for Europeans who plan to get Model Y delivery in September, it is undoubtedly one of their options. In addition, orders for the 7-seater model do not provide interior trim.
The Model Y long-range version will be delivered in September, while the Model Y high-performance version will be delivered later, which is expected to be 2022.
Previously, Tesla had planned to produce Model Y models sold in Europe at its Berlin super factory, but production at the factory has been delayed.
