Pirelli and Geotab have entered into a partnership on a global level that will allow companies that use commercial vehicles to reduce management costs related to tires, while improving operations and sustainability. The partnership envisages that the Pirelli Cyber Fleet system will be available through the Geotab marketplace, and therefore usable through the MyGeotab fleet management platform.
In this way, fleet managers will be able to check the condition of the tires, thanks to the sensor inserted in each of them, which sends the data to an app installed on a tablet or smartphone and which in turn makes them available on the Geotab digital platform. Thanks to this integration, fleet managers will be able to avoid having to inspect each vehicle in person, guaranteeing customers greater safety for drivers and the goods they transport.
