Quota 100 filed at the end of the year, with what parameters will you retire? The objective of the Draghi government is to define the boundaries of cases in which it will not be necessary to reach simple seniority. Starting, at least, with the toughest jobs. And therefore from the project to enlarge and make structural the social Ape, the pension advance provision introduced with the 2017 Budget law which focuses on heavy and tiring work, which in the plan of the commission on heavy work – established by the Gentiloni government at beginning of 2018, never operational until last spring and now chaired by the former Minister of Labor Cesare Damiano – increase in number from 15 to 57 groups, passing from 65 to 203 jobs.
The idea is to define a check that is triggered at the age of 63 and 36 years of contributions, with an amount of up to 1,500 euros paid up to the retirement age, also for new professions, always for those who have performed any of the duties considered strenuous for 6 years in the last 7 years or 7 in the last 10 years. Here is the list being examined by ministers Orlando and Franco between those who already were and the news under the magnifying glass once Quota 100 has been archived:
– Manual professions related to the manufacturing sector;
– Manual professions related to the construction sector;
– The manual professions in the agricultural sector and forestry workers;
– Drivers of plants and heavy machinery, but also of heavy vehicles and trucks and railway trains (and traveling personnel);
– Leather and fur tanners;
– Staff of the hospital nursing and obstetric health professions with work organized in shifts;
– Assistants for people in non self-sufficient conditions;
– Kindergarten teachers and nursery school educators;
– Porters, workers in charge of moving goods and similar;
– Unqualified personnel assigned to cleaning services;
– Ecological operators and other waste collectors and separators.
– First and second smelting iron and steel workers and glass workers involved in work at high temperatures not already included in the perimeter of strenuous works;
– Agricultural, zootechnical and fishing workers;
– Fishermen in coastal fishing, in inland waters, on the high seas, employees or members of cooperatives;
– Seafarers embarked on board and traveling personnel of marine and inland water transport.
To these will be added all the workers deemed similar. Such as elementary school teachers, janitors, carers and domestic workers, welders, taxi drivers, bus and tram drivers, gas stations, shop assistants, cashiers, bakers, warehouse workers, industrial painters, skilled health workers, porters, foresters, carpenters, suitcases. But also taxi drivers, butchers, bakers, shop assistants and cashiers and others up to the total of 203 activities that will now pass to the scrutiny of the ministries led by Daniele Franco and Andrea Orlando.
