John Elkann had been very clear on the possible merger with Renault: «There is no plan under study regarding merger operations of Stellantis with other manufacturers» he declared yesterday, while the group’s and Renault’s stocks animated the opening of the stock exchanges. «The company is focused on the execution of the “Dare forward” strategic plan and on the timely implementation of the projects announced to strengthen the activity in every market where it is present, including Italy» then added the president and first shareholder of the company created four years ago from the merger between FCA and PSA/Peugeot.
