Sentiment banks: ranking of the most satisfied account holders, Intesa Sanpaolo and BPER at the top

Intesa SanPaolo and Bper are the banks that best satisfy i Italian account holders. This is what emerges from the latest FinanzaOnLine survey in collaboration with T-Voice, a company that deals with opinion mining, sentiment analysis and topic discovery and uses supervised artificial intelligence algorithms with the aim of offering a precise overview of opinions and feelings shared via the web and social networks.
The analyzes were conducted on more than 8,000 texts in Italian on the topic “banks” present on the web and on the main social networks for the period from May 17 to June 16 2021. All results are presented net of the “offs”. -topic ”, ie without considering those texts that do not contain the topic of interest.

In detail the investigation reveals the Web Opinion Index which measures the level of satisfaction of Italian account holders with their banks, which sees Intesa SanPaolo in first place, obtaining a score of 49.71 out of 100, followed by Bper at 17.35. On the other hand, Mps (-10.94), BPM (-17.05) and UniCredit (-18.96) were negative.

Results roughly in line with the previous survey which always saw Intesa account holders in first place in terms of satisfaction, followed by Bper. The index ranges from -100 to +100 and 0 represents the threshold value. Values ​​greater than zero indicate satisfaction. Values ​​less than zero indicate dissatisfaction. 0-25 low, 25-50 medium-low, 50-75 medium-high, 75-100 high (in absolute terms).
Bper once again, like the previous survey, is the most discussed bank at 39.56%, followed by Mps at 33.89%, Intesa at 13.69%, Bpm at 7.52% and finally Unicredit at 5, 33%.
