Sintra, Powell (FED): greater restriction is on the way, including new rate hikes

The chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell spoke on inflation Wednesday, saying he expects multiple interest rate hikes and possibly at an aggressive pace.

“We believe there is more tightening to come,” Powell said during a monetary policy session in Sintra, Portugal. “What really drives it… is a very strong job market.”
