Telepass, tariffs revised. The fee will cost 3.90 euros per month
Telepass is expanding its scope, no longer limiting itself to just that motorway electronic toll but becoming a platform for mobility, including urban mobility. This change is accompanied by the increase in season ticket prices starting from July 1stjustified by the evolution of the market.
The sale of Motorways for Italy from Mundys (the former Atlantia) removed the group from the link with the concessionaire, depriving it of the retrocessions of savings deriving from the toll booth management. With the liberalization of the market, Telepass must deal with new competitors, such as UnipolMove of Unipol e Mooneya joint venture between Enel and Intesa, with other potential entrants.
From July 1st, the offer “Base“It will cost 3,90 euros per month (increasing compared to the current 1.83 euros) and will allow you to associate two license plates and access electronic tolls and four other services. The proposal “Plus“, which offers over 25 services, will have the same price as the base, i.e. 3.90 euros, thanks to a promotion valid until December 2025.
Additionally, a new option is introduced “Pay per Use” dedicated to those who make a sporadic use of electronic tolls: Telepass – again starting from 1 July 2024 – will in fact give new impetus to the solution “Pay per Use”, an offer that in fact provides the charging of a “daily” fee for the single day of use of the service. For more customers young – who are less inclined to use a car for their travels – but also to facilitate the mobility of tourists, not only Italians, in our peninsula, the company will create a new, more smart “Young”, can be activated via credit or debit card, which will include the main mobility-related services present on the Telepass platform, excluding the telepedaggio and the relevant on-board device.
