Original title: The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology notified 84 APPs that violated the rights and interests of users
APP notification on violation of user rights and interests

According to the “Personal Information Protection Law”, “Cybersecurity Law”, “Telecommunications Regulations”, “Telecommunications and Internet Users’ Personal Information Protection Regulations” and other laws and regulations, our ministry organizes third-party testing agencies to conduct mobile inspections on life services and daily tools that are of concern to the masses. Internet applications (APPs) were inspected and rectification requirements were put forward for 368 APPs found to have violated the rights and interests of users. Up to now, there are still 84 APPs that have not completed the rectification as required (see the attachment for details), and are hereby notified.
The above-mentioned APP should complete the rectification and implementation work before June 8. If rectification is not made within the time limit, our department will organize relevant disposal work in accordance with laws and regulations.
